EXPLORING HEARST CASTLE

Hey guys!
While we were out West visiting my brother, Vincent, he took us to Hearst Castle located in San Simeon, California. As you all know, I LOVE to travel and see new places. James is a lover of history, so this adventure was perfect for us. He got to step back in time while I enjoyed the view. 🙂 Hearst Castle is definitely one of the prettiest places I’ve ever been in terms of both architecture and scenery combined. What makes it so pretty is that no matter where you are standing outside of the castle you can pretty much see the ocean. The very first picture is a view of the road that we had to travel to get up to the castle. When you first get there you have to take about a 15 minute bus ride up there, but it’s so pretty that the time flies by. There’s multiple tours to choose from and the castle is absolutely stunning from the inside out.

James is the guy to talk to if you are interested in the history aspect, I’m here to talk about its beauty. Luckily the weather was gorgeous (which it usually is in California). We got in trouble by one of the tour guides because we kept falling behind to take pictures, whoops. We were excited! At the end of the tour you have the option of going into the theatre to watch a short movie about the history of Hearst Castle. If you ever go to visit, definitely see the movie! It’s worth it.

It was so great getting to experience this with James and my brother. Any time with them is always a great time. We relaxed outside, took in the scenery, browsed the gift shop, and explored. Afterwards we did one of my favorite things, ate delicious food. My brother brought us to this amazinggg place called Ruddell’s Smokehouse in Cayucous. They have the greatest fish tacos known to man that they smoke fresh right there. The place smelled incredible. They had everything from smoked salmon to smoked shrimp, you name it. We brought some back to my sister-in-laws parents beach house which was right down the road and enjoyed it out on the sun deck. It was a heaven of a day. I can’t wait to visit again for more adventures and to see my bro again, I love you Vin!! <3 <3 Thank you for the best time!!

PS. No editing done on any of these pictures. It wasn’t necessary at all, what you see in these pics is its actual real 100% beauty.

Have you guys ever been? If so I’d love to hear your story and what you thought of the experience!
Much love! xoxo
